For this lab, we disabled both firewall and SELinux :

[root@mongodb ~]# egrep "^SELINUX=" /etc/sysconfig/selinux
[root@mongodb ~]# systemctl is-enabled firewalld

Create a repository file :

[root@mongodb ~]# cat /etc/yum.repos.d/mongodb-org-3.2.repo
name=MongoDB Repository

Install MongoDB :

[root@mongodb ~]# yum -y install mongodb-org

  mongodb-org.x86_64 0:3.2.3-1.el7

Dependency Installed:
  mongodb-org-mongos.x86_64 0:3.2.3-1.el7       mongodb-org-server.x86_64 0:3.2.3-1.el7       mongodb-org-shell.x86_64 0:3.2.3-1.el7
  mongodb-org-tools.x86_64 0:3.2.3-1.el7

Start MongoDB now, and keep it started across reboot :

[root@mongodb ~]# systemctl start mongod && systemctl enable mongod
mongod.service is not a native service, redirecting to /sbin/chkconfig.
Executing /sbin/chkconfig mongod on
